personal experiences in every combat theater around the world.

Our mission is to create an multi-faceted archive
of all War Veterans of Madison County, Alabama.
We are starting with WWII
Veterans.

We ask persons to sign up on-line and record information about their relatives
and friends who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during WWII.
Individuals may
sign up on
line at http://www.wwiimemorial.com/
Also, we regularly meet with groups of veterans to help them catalog their experiences.
Information
will be gathered from the WWII Memorial database and placed in a book at the Veterans
Memorial Museum. This book will be displayed in a place of honor and be made
available to all persons during regular museum hours.

As we progress to including
more recent wars we are creating create web site databases to help acquire and record
information about veterans of wars after WWII.
We are working in support of and in cooperation with the
Veterans Memorial Museum, The North Alabama Veterans and Fraternal
Organizations Coalitions, and The Madison County Military Heritage Commission,
all of Madison County, Alabama. Also the Huntsville Times, and Honor Flight of
North Alabama.
